Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan plans to hold talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Astana on July 3-4.
Axar.az reports that this information was released by the "Haberturk" television channel.
The channel notes that the agenda for this meeting could include topics such as the conflict in Ukraine, the Black Sea issue in the context of grain supply, the progress of work at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, prospects for the creation of a gas trading center, and the fictitious elections in Kurdish regions in northern Syria.
It should be noted that previously, Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov had mentioned the possibility of the two leaders meeting in Astana.
