The White House has officially authorized the Ukrainian military to use U.S. weapons to strike Russian territory from both the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

According to Axar.az, this was stated by Michael Carpenter, the Director for European Affairs on the National Security Council of the White House.

"We have clearly stated that we are allowing Ukrainians to use U.S. weapons to target Russian positions from the Kharkiv and Sumy regions in response fire. These actions will result in Russia losing the capability to gather its troops at the border," Carpenter stated.
