The head of "Wikileaks" Julian Assange left the British Belmarsh prison, where he was detained since 2019, and left the country by plane.

Axar.az reports that information about this was spread on the X account of Wikileaks.

"He left Belmarsh, where he spent 1,901 days, on the morning of June 24. The London High Court released him on bail. Assange went to Stansted Airport and left Great Britain by plane," the report said.

It should be noted that the wife of Julian Assange, Stella Assange, called on US President Joe Biden to release her husband.
