If there is any new attack from Pakistan against India, it will be met with a harsh response using “BrahMos” missiles.

Axar.az reports that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made this statement.

He emphasized that the air defense systems, missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles used during India’s “Sindur” operation demonstrate the success of the country’s military strength and self-reliance policy.

It should be noted that India-Pakistan relations escalated on April 22 after militants attacked civilians in the part of Kashmir under Delhi’s control. While Delhi blamed Islamabad for the incident, Pakistan firmly rejected the accusation.

On the night of May 6 to 7, India launched airstrikes on Pakistani territory based on these unproven accusations. The attack resulted in the deaths of 31 civilians and injured nearly 50 others in Pakistan. In response, Pakistan struck Indian military targets, destroying five fighter jets, a brigade headquarters near the border, and other military assets. Pakistan also responded harshly to India’s May 10 airstrikes.

India named its air campaign against Pakistan the “Sindur” operation.
