After explosions in Russia, the “Central Asia–Center” main gas pipeline went out of service.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by “RBK-Ukraine,” citing its sources.

It was stated that on August 2, in the Volgograd region, the “Central Asia–Center” main gas pipeline was rendered inoperative. This pipeline is part of Gazprom’s gas transmission system and transports natural gas from Turkmenistan to Russia via Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

It’s noted that this pipeline supplies energy to several facilities of Russia’s military-industrial complex — including the Demikhovsky Engineering Plant, the MIG Russian Aircraft Corporation (Production Complex No.1), the “Magnum-K” ammunition plant, and others.

Additionally, it was reported that gas transmission through the “Central Asia–Center” pipeline in the Volgograd region has been suspended for an indefinite period.
