In 2025, Russia has significantly reduced the number of hybrid attacks and acts of sabotage in Europe. One of the reasons cited is the complete incompetence of the saboteurs.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Bloomberg.

A report from the International Institute for Strategic Studies states that between January and May of this year, Russia carried out 11 hybrid attacks against Europe. In 2024, that number was over 30.

Unnamed Western officials believe that Russia may have halted its attacks in the early months of the new U.S. administration, as it did not want to immediately damage its relations with Donald Trump.
