Armenia became the tenth customer of Caesars artillery systems. The corresponding decision was made during the visit of the Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan to the "Eurosatory" defense exhibition.

It was recalled that Armenia will receive 36 Caesars, which is enough to equip two artillery battalions. In addition, the KNDS company signed an agreement on military-technical cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. In addition to spare parts, the contract includes the supply of batches of 155 mm ammunition.

It is reported that as recently as last November, several senators recommended that the delivery of Caesar artillery systems be investigated as soon as possible, taking into account the effectiveness of this equipment and the new production capabilities of Nexter in 2024.
