The number of people who died as a result of the flood in Nookat district of Osh region of Kyrgyzstan has reached 7.

Axar.az reports that the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations has released information about this.

It was reported that a state of emergency has already been declared in the region.

According to preliminary information, 7 people were killed as a result of the flood caused by torrential rains. Their bodies have already been found. Dozens of one-story residential buildings and highways were flooded, and two bridges over rivers were damaged.
