A Russian who prepared a terrorist attack against three high-ranking soldiers of the Russian Ministry of Defense was arrested.

Axar.az reports that the Federal Security Service has released information about this.

"The security authorities arrested a Russian citizen born in 1994 who organized the delivery of three powerful explosive devices disguised in gift wrapping to the addresses of three senior officials of the Ministry of Defense on the instructions of the General Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine," the department noted.

He contacted Ukrainian military intelligence in May 2024. It was reported that he agreed to carry out the instructions regarding the preparation of terrorist operations on the territory of Russia in exchange for money.
