Israeli soldiers have killed a commander of Lebanon's Hezbollah organization responsible for financial matters in Syria.

Axar.az reports that according to a briefing by Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Haqari, Hezbollah obtains its funding directly from Iran, as well as from businesses established by Hezbollah in Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey that generate income for the organization. This financial network is managed by the "4400th unit" within Hezbollah.

Haqari noted that until recently, this unit was led by Jafar Qasir, who was killed in Beirut earlier in October. "Today, with the next strike in Syria, we eliminated his successor. We will not allow Hezbollah to regroup and rearm."
