The visit of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the BRICS summit in Kazan demonstrates the significance of the association for the West.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Purnima Anand, president of the International Forum of BRICS Countries.

"The arrival of the UN Secretary-General in Kazan shows that the summit holds international significance.

Today, Kazan will become one of the safest places on Earth, and many world leaders will come to Kazan. This is indeed a very important conference, especially given the high levels of turmoil in the world right now," P. Anand stated.

It should be noted that the BRICS summit will take place in Kazan from October 22 to 24.
