Preparations for COP29 are now in their final stages.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting on October 22 with Alexander Vlaskamp, the CEO of MAN Truck & Bus.

President Aliyev emphasized that despite having less than a year to prepare, Azerbaijan is committed to ensuring that COP29 is held at a high level. He also expressed appreciation for the unanimous support of 198 countries for hosting COP29 in Azerbaijan, highlighting the significance of this event being organized in the region for the first time.
