A police officer shot 30-year-old Arzu Badri for violating the mandatory hijab rules in Noor, Mazandaran province, Iran.
Axar.az reports that local human rights activists have spread information about this.
"It was decided to confiscate Arzu Badri's car for violating the mandatory hijab rules. When Badri was driving in the city in his private car, the police fired two shots to stop him and take away his car, one of the bullets hit the car and one hit Arzu Badri, the information said.
According to the activists, Arzu Badri was seriously injured, fell into a coma and was placed in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
During the operation, it was found that the bullet hit the young lady's spine, her spine was damaged and she was paralyzed from the waist down.
As A. Badri's life was in danger, he was transferred from the hospital of Nur city to the "Khomeini" hospital of the provincial center of Sari.
