Ukraine plans to hold the territories we have captured in Kursk until Russian President Vladimir Putin is forced into negotiations. This is part of the victory plan.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with NBC News.

The president also added that he will inform international partners, including the United States, about this plan.

When asked whether Ukraine plans to expand its attacks on Russian territory, Zelensky said he could not speak on that matter.

According to him, the Kursk operation was unexpected for Ukraine's allies:

"Yes, we didn’t tell anyone. It’s not a matter of distrust. Kyiv’s counteroffensive last summer was highly publicized, which allowed the Russians to prepare and led to its failure."
