Armed conflict erupts between Taliban and Pakistan

Armed clashes between the forces of the radical Taliban movement in Afghanistan and the border troops of Pakistan took place on the border of the two countries.

Axar.az reports that the fighting started in Khost province of Afghanistan.

The clashes, which involved the use of light and heavy weapons, reportedly began as the Taliban set up posts in the disputed border area for three days. No casualties were reported.
