Pashinyan: No commitment to Russian border guards

In the statement dated November 9/10, 2020, Armenia did not commit to the participation of Russian border guards to control the road between the main part of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said these words during his speech in the parliament.

"What is mentioned in paragraph 9 of the document dated November 9 (10) does not mean that Russian border troops should be on the road connecting Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan. The presence of Russian border guards in Armenia is an issue that Armenia should resolve. If Armenia decides tomorrow that they shouldn't be, they won't be," Pashinyan said.
