The recent strengthening of Cyprus-US relations is not directed against Moscow.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides in an interview with "Phileleftheros" newspaper.

"We do not act in a way that our relationship with the Americans is against the Russians. We are not vengeful toward anyone. Who are we to seek revenge against Russia or China?" Christodoulides noted.
