Northern Cyprus warns France over airspace violations

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has warned France that serious measures will be taken if it violates its airspace.

Axar.az reports this information, citing a statement from the TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It should be noted that Repulic of Cyprus has granted the French Air Force “flight permission” in the northern part of the island.

Additionally, Greece’s Ministry of Defense stated that Northern Cyprus does not have “airspace” and allowed French aircraft to fly over the area.
