Mbappe unhappy with position in France’s win over Turkiye

France and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe was unhappy with the position assigned to him by head coach Zinedine Zidane during the team’s UEFA Nations League opener against Turkiye.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, that Mbappe expressed dissatisfaction with playing on the left wing. France defeated Turkiye 1-0 in the match played in İzmit, with Mbappe scoring the winning goal in the 54th minute.

However, the forward was injured during the goal-scoring episode and was unable to continue the match.

Mbappe is set to miss France’s next matches against Belgium and Italy in the autumn due to the injury.
