Iran is determined to further develop friendly relations with Armenia by all means in accordance with the interests of the two nations.

Axar.az reports that these words were reflected in the congratulatory letter of the Iranian Embassy on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day.

In the message, it was emphasized that Iran was one of the first to recognize Armenia's independence:

"Since then, relations between the two countries have developed on the basis of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and recognition of interests.

We wish the Almighty God the happiness and prosperity of the glorious Armenian people and government."

It should be noted that Armenia is celebrating Independence Day today.
