The European Union launched a "humanitarian airlift" to deliver aid to Lebanon amid heavy fighting in the country.

Axar.az reports that the European Commission has released information about this.

It was reported that three flights will be organized from Italy and Dubai to deliver supplies to Lebanon. The first aid flight will be delivered to Beirut on Friday.

It should be noted that last week the EU announced that it has increased humanitarian aid costs to Lebanon by 30 million euros.
