North Korea (DPRK) may send up to 100,000 troops to assist Russia in its war against Ukraine, which would undoubtedly pose a significant problem for Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ukrainian analyst Oleksiy Hetman.

"It should be noted that North Korea does not take into account the opinions of its people; there are no laws or regulations. Thus, a country with a million-strong army is determined to send half a million soldiers to the front line," he said.

The expert pointed out that Pyongyang understands well that Seoul will not attack it:

"North Korea is a small country in size, but its army is approximately on par with that of the Russian Federation, and therefore it is ready to send 10, 20, 30, even 100 thousand soldiers, if not half a million"
