Death toll rises to 14 in Novi Sad station collapse

The number of fatalities has risen to 14 due to the collapse of the concrete canopy at the train station in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in a public address.

"According to the latest information, and we hope this will be the final figure, 14 people have lost their lives. Among them, 8 are Serbian citizens, and one is a citizen of North Macedonia. The identities of five individuals have yet to be determined," Vučić noted.

It is reported that local media has indicated that search and rescue operations at the scene have concluded. Additionally, it has been emphasized that apart from the 14 fatalities, three individuals sustained various injuries as a result of the incident.
