Russian troops have launched an offensive in Donbas, with a total front width of 70 km.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Finnish military expert Emil Kastehelmi.

He noted that in recent days, the Russians have intensified their advances in the areas of Uglidar, Kurakhovo, and Selidove in Donetsk province.

Kastehelmi mentioned that, according to the data from the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, there have already been more than 100 clashes over the past few days. The expert considers this part of Russia's unified large-scale offensive:

"The Russians have recently launched a major attack across a 70 km wide front in eastern and southern Donetsk. This strike has breached Ukrainian defenses in many areas in just a few days. The overall situation is very concerning, and the Ukrainians are exhausted. The upcoming winter will be difficult."
