Donald Trump Appoints Dr. Mehmet Oz as Head of Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Axar.az reports that President-elect Donald Trump has picked Turkish-American physician and host Dr. Mehmet Oz to serve as the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a key federal agency that oversees health insurance coverage for more than 150 million Americans.

Trump shared the news on his "Truth Social" platform, stating: "I have known Dr. Oz for many years, and I am confident he will fight to ensure everyone in America receives the best possible Healthcare, so our Country can be Great and Healthy Again!”.

It should be noted that Dr. Oz, a renowned cardiovascular surgeon and television personality, ran for the Senate in Pennsylvania in 2022 with Trump's support but was unsuccessful.
