US sanctions six Hamas leaders

U.S. imposed sanctions on six Hamas leaders.

Axar.az reports that the U.S. Department of the Treasury has announced sanctions on six senior members of Hamas.

According to the statement, the sanctioned individuals include representatives of the movement abroad and members of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades. Additionally, the list includes individuals involved in fundraising for Hamas and those connected to arms smuggling into Gaza.

The Treasury noted that these individuals support terrorist activities and facilitate the transfer of financial resources to the Gaza Strip.
