Leyla Aliyeva leads release of 50,000 fish at COP29

Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) Public Union, organized by "LU-MUN Holding" company, within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) participated in the release of the organized fish babies.

Axar.az reports that 50,000 sturgeon and Caspian salmon babies were released into the water as part of the action broadcast online in the Green Zone. The action was organized in Yenikend village of Neftchala.

It should be noted that this measure was implemented in order to contribute to the protection of the biodiversity of endemic fish species.
