Frank Pallone, known for his anti-Azerbaijan rhetoric and staunchly pro-Armenian stance, has spoken for the first time about leaving Baku after attending COP29 as part of the U.S. delegation.

Axar.az reports that the congressman stated on the X platform that his position on Armenians remains unchanged.

He mentioned that he had to leave Azerbaijan following protests in Baku but emphasized that he will continue his "struggle" concerning Armenia and Armenians.

It should be noted that Frank Pallone, who has long-standing ties with the Armenian lobby in the U.S., has consistently adopted an anti-Azerbaijan stance in Congress. He arrived in Baku on November 16 as part of Washington’s delegation to COP29. His visit sparked strong public backlash in Azerbaijan, with demands for an apology and his departure. Pallone later returned to the U.S. discreetly following the protests.
