Serge Wilmes, Luxembourg's Minister for Environment, Climate, and Biodiversity, has traveled to Azerbaijan to attend the 29th session of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29).

Axar.az reports that the news was shared on social media by Vagif Sadigov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as Head of the Representation to the European Union.

"Serge Wilmes has arrived in Baku with his delegation to participate in COP29. The upcoming days will be the most challenging ones. Welcome to Azerbaijan!" the diplomat wrote.
