Opposition leader detained during protests in Tbilisi

Zurab Japaridze, the leader of the opposition Girchi Party, was detained during protests in Tbilisi.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Georgian media.

It was noted that Japaridze was detained along with several colleagues in the Vake district, where he was staying, after the protest near the parliament building was dispersed.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has not yet made an official statement.
