Members of the "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" (HTS) group are advancing rapidly towards the city of Hama.

It is reported that HTS fighters have captured several areas north of Hama, including Zor al-Mahruka, Zor al-Heysa, Zor Abu Zayid, Zor al-Mesalih, Zor al-Jadid, Hattap, Al-Rehjan, Northern Sereha, Southern Sereha, Maar Shahrura (one of the closest residential areas to the city), and many other regions.

It has also been reported that the area known as the "Military Academy" in the east of Hama has fallen under the control of the fighters.

Fierce fighting is said to be taking place just 6 kilometers from Hama.

Additionally, there are reports that the Syrian government has evacuated the city's banks and currency exchange centers.
