Bashar al-Assad is in a safe place.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.

"President (ex-president) Assad is in Russia. In such a situation, it is not right to speculate about what happened and how it was resolved, but he is in a safe place," said Ryabkov.

It should be noted that on December 8, the deposed leader of Russia, Bashar Assad, fled to Moscow with his family.
