Belgrade is ready to acquire Russia's stakes in "Gazprom Neft" and "Gazprom" in the "Serbia's Oil Industry" (NIS) company if U.S. sanctions are imposed.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

"Now we have the money to take NIS back. According to calculations, if the company's value is 1 billion euros, then it would cost 600 million euros to acquire the shares of 'Gazprom' and 'Gazprom Neft'," Vucic said.
