The representative of the Russian embassy was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova after expressing his position on the energy crisis in Transnistria.

Axar.az reports that the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, Tatyana Barac, provided the information.

According to her, such statements of the Russian diplomatic mission hurt the relations between Chisinau and Moscow.

It should be noted that after gas transit from the territory of Ukraine was stopped, there was an energy crisis in the Transnistrian region.

Today, the Russian diplomatic mission said that the situation in the Transnistria region, where Russian gas was stopped on January 1, is rapidly deteriorating and that the crisis was created artificially by the collective West and Ukraine.

It was emphasized that the media in Chișinău and Kyiv are trying to blame Russia for the energy crisis.
