Iran VP: US sanctions will have opposite effect

The Iranian government will not allow US economic pressure to undermine economic stability and people’s livelihoods.

Axar.az reports that Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref made the remarks in a post on X.

"The government will not allow US economic terrorism to target economic stability and the livelihoods of the people.

The experience of the Islamic Revolution has shown that economic pressure cannot change the will of the Iranian people and will instead have the opposite effect," he said.
