Russia may increase production of UAVs to 400 per month

Russia is expanding production of jet-powered drones, including the Geran-4 and Banderol, to strike targets in Ukraine’s rear areas.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Ukrainian presidential adviser Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov said Russia continues to use conventional Shahed drones.

Russia is scaling up production of jet-powered drones, including the Geran-4 and Banderol missiles, as Ukraine effectively counters conventional Shaheds," Beskrestnov stated.

For attacks deeper inside Ukraine, Russia is increasingly relying on jet-powered UAVs.

"They know that we are capable of effectively countering conventional UAVs. They continue to use conventional "Shaheds," but in the border areas. In the rear, they operate jet-powered "Shaheds" — they are betting on the "Geran-4" and the "Banderol" missile," he added.

According to Beskrestnov, Russia also plans to increase production of Banderol munitions. He estimated that production capacity could reach 300–400 units per month.
