Hungary will soon open its embassy in Syria.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó.

According to him, the situation in this Middle Eastern country has stabilized after weeks of fighting, and therefore it was decided to resume the work of the diplomatic mission of Hungary in Damascus.

"This will make it possible to get accurate information about the events happening in the country from the first hand and to serve the interests of the Hungarian citizens there," he said.
