A 7.0-magnitude earthquake has struck Nepal.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by Nepal's Department of Mines and Geology.

According to the report, the earthquake was recorded at 6:50 AM local time (4:50 AM Baku time).

The tremors were felt in most parts of Nepal, particularly in the eastern and central regions of the country.

No information about damage or casualties has been reported yet.

It is worth noting that a 7.1-magnitude earthquake also struck the Tibet Autonomous Region in southwestern China.
