The British government has refrained from sending military trainers to Ukraine so far, fearing that Russian forces might attack them.

Axar.az reports that this was revealed by The Times newspaper, citing an unnamed Western official.

According to source the closer the training is to the front lines, the more effective it will be for Ukrainian soldiers. However, it must be noted that the Russians will attack any Western assistance on Ukrainian territory.
