Tomorrow, Kyrgyzstan will send experts to Kazakhstan to get acquainted with the condition of the citizens of the country who were injured as a result of the crash of the AZAL plane near Aktau.

Axar.az reports that the Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, Boobek Ajikeyev, said this in an interview with "AKIpress".

According to him, three citizens of Kyrgyzstan are currently in hospital, one of them is in intensive care.

"The condition of two people has improved, one of them has a severe spinal cord injury. President Sadir Nurgojoevich gave direct instructions on providing assistance to our citizens as soon as possible and ensuring the maximum participation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the process of their evacuation. We are working together with the active participation of the Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Ravshanbek Azatovich, and our ambassador to Kazakhstan, Dastan Stanbekovich, who constantly informs us about the situation," said the head of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He noted that on December 28, a military doctor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, head of the department, and an employee of the Ministry of Labor will leave for Kazakhstan.

"The relatives of the victims will also go there tomorrow. Doctors had a consultation today and they decided that it is not appropriate to transfer the patients now. This can do more harm than good to their health. Most likely, tomorrow our representatives and relatives of the wounded will discuss the situation with the wounded themselves. We think that they will stay for a longer time until their situation improves," Ajikeyev stressed.

He added that the Kazakh side expressed its readiness to extend the treatment period and hand over the wounded to us after their condition stabilizes.

It should be noted that on December 25, the AZAL plane carrying out the Baku-Grozny flight was shot down by the Russian HHM systems in the sky of Grozny and was seriously damaged. The plane headed for Aktau crashed near the Aktau airport because it was not allowed to land. As a result of the accident, 38 of the 67 people on board died, and 29 survived.
