Turkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized Nusreddin Demir, one of the so-called leaders of PKK/KCK, in a special operation conducted in Iraq's Gara region.

Axar.az reports that the information was released by Turkish media.

It was reported that N. Demir participated in and personally oversaw attacks against security forces in the “Claw-Lock” operation area during 2021-2022.

Since 2023, he was identified as operating at a "leadership" level for PKK/KCK in Iraq's Gara region.

For this reason, he was included in MIT's special target list.
