Switzerland bans full-face coverings in public

From January 1, 2025, the Swiss authorities have banned the wearing of clothing that completely hides the face, including veils and niqabs, in public places.

Axar.az reports that this was informed by the Swiss government.

Violators will reportedly be fined 100 to 1,000 Swiss francs ($110.2 to $1,102).
