Lukashenko dismisses pre-election debates

I don't have time for pre-election debates right now.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

"Honestly, I don't follow it. There is no time for that. I know debates are going on. But I didn't see any debate. Now is not the time for discussion. No need for words today. Now it is necessary to develop and fight. That's why action is needed, not words. Therefore, I continue to work on my problems," he said.

It should be noted that earlier Lukashenko refused to appear on television and radio during the time allocated for the pre-election campaign.

Presidential elections in Belarus are scheduled for January 26.
