Azerbaijan increases non-oil and gas exports by nearly 7%

In the first two months of this year, the value of Azerbaijan's non-oil and gas sector exports increased by 6.6% year-over-year, reaching 485 million USD.

Axar.az reports this information was released by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

The data indicates that the value of food exports increased by 12.3% in the past year, amounting to 153.9 million USD.

In January-February 2025, the export value of agricultural products rose by 9.5%, reaching 119.7 million USD, while the export value of agro-industrial products increased by 17.7%, totaling 43 million USD. Overall, the combined export value of agricultural and agro-industrial products rose by 11.6%, reaching 162.8 million USD.

Over the past year, the export value of ferrous metals and products made from them increased by 66.9%, the export value of sugar and sugar confectionery products soared by 47%, the export value of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages went up by 10.2%, the export value of chemical industry products grew by 30%, the export value of tea rose by 21.3%, and the export value of aluminum and aluminum products increased by 2.8%.
