Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Kazakh counterpart, Murat Nurtleu.

"Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, welcomes Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, within the framework of the official visit," the post reads.

A meeting between the delegations of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan has begun in Astana.

Both ministers noted with satisfaction that the meeting is taking place during Ramadan, the holy month for Muslims.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held an extended meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Murat Nurtleu.

The meeting focused on issues stemming from the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as prospects for bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Discussions also covered various aspects of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic partnership, including political, economic, trade, transport-communication, and humanitarian dimensions.

Regional cooperation and collaboration within international organizations such as the UN, OIC, OTS, and CICA were also key topics on the agenda.
