This year, Russia is planning to start mass production of the Atom electric car.

Axar.az reports that they are currently undergoing software tuning and a series of tests in real conditions.

The Atom electric car was developed by the Russian Kama JSC and is intended for urban transport in the future. The company has already presented several prototypes of the model. Among the innovative features of the car are the presence of a tablet on the steering wheel instead of a traditional panel, an augmented reality projection on the windshield, a facial recognition system based on artificial intelligence for granting access to the car, and an Atom.ID account that allows transferring individual settings to any Atom car.

The initial price of the electric car will be 3-4 million rubles (from 52,502 to 70,007 manats at the current exchange rate).
