Georgia withdraws delegation from PACE

Georgia has decided to withdraw its delegation from PACE.

Axar.az reports that this was announced during a session of the Georgian parliament.

“We expect the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to return to its core values, based on respect for democracy and sovereignty,” said Shalva Papuashvili, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.

It is noted that a corresponding request has already been addressed to PACE President Theodore Roussopoulos.
