Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe, has awakened again.

Axar.az reports that lava flow has been observed from the crater called "New Mouth" of the volcano on the island of Sicily in southern Italy.

The ash and dust cloud erupted by Etna, which is approximately 3,330 meters high, spread over a large area in the settlements at the foot of the volcano.

The last time a lava flow occurred on the volcano was in September of last year.
