Turkiye and Qatar have joined the Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development, expanding the bloc to seven countries.
Axar.az, citing Hurriyet, reports that the announcement was made during the partnership's fifth meeting in Doha, attended by ministers from the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, and Morocco.
The inclusion of Turkiye and Qatar is expected to boost regional industrial integration, leveraging Qatar’s natural resources and Turkiye’s advanced industrial capacities. The expansion aims to enhance cooperation in key industries, including manufacturing, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and food production.
The meeting also saw the signing of agreements and the announcement of strategic projects to promote industrial investment and economic resilience.
