Neither Russia nor Ukraine can win with weapons. Although Russia wanted to, it did not achieve its goal.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a press conference in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He said that Ukraine has preserved its independence, even if no one believes it: "It is now necessary to move on to diplomacy. But it must be fair."

According to V. Zelensky, if Russia wants peace, it must agree to a prisoner exchange:

"A security guarantee is to prevent a new war from starting. We are not afraid of the Russian army. But a security guarantee is a prerequisite in order not to cause new losses. The US does not provide us with the support we need. Some Western countries do not support our membership in NATO. Therefore, the Ukrainian army must be strong. Ukraine will never reconcile with the occupation of its territories."
